Crateuas (physician)

Crateuas (111–64 BC), also known as Cratevas (Latin), Krateuas, or Kratevas (Ancient Greek: Κρατεύας), was a Greek doctor and pharmacologist. He was distinguished from others of the same name by the epithet "Rootpicker" or "Rhizotomist" (ὁ ῥιζοτόμος, ho rhizotómos) after the Greek name of his principle work, the Herbology.
