Chitralekha (Sanskrit: चित्रलेखा, romanized: Citralekhā) is a friend of Uṣā, and the daughter of a minister of Banasura, who ruled from his capital of Śoṇitapura. She employs her magical powers to unite Uṣā with her lover, Aniruddha.
