Cerklje ob Krki (pronounced [ˈtseːɾkljɛ ɔp ˈkəɾki]; German: Zirkle) is a settlement on the left bank of the Krka River in the Municipality of Brežice in eastern Slovenia. It is best known for the Cerklje ob Krki Airport north of the settlement. The area is part of the traditional region of Lower Carniola. It is now included in the Lower Sava Statistical Region.
