Auriens

Auriens Group is a British later living provider that owns and operates Auriens Chelsea, a residential later living community for individuals aged 65 and over. Located on Dovehouse Street in Chelsea, London, the development overlooks Dovehouse Street and the King's Road.

The development opened in 2021 and includes 56 one and two-bedroom apartments ranging from 900-2,100 sq ft. The apartments incorporate adaptive features to support independent living, with many overlooking a landscaped courtyard designed by garden designer Andy Sturgeon.

Communal amenities include a restaurant, wine cellar, gym, spa, hair salon, 15 m swimming pool, bar, and cinema. Interior design for the communal areas was provided by studios including Albion Nord, Goddard Littlefair, Richmond International, and Brady Williams.

Auriens Chelsea offers services aimed at supporting an active lifestyle, including a 24/7 concierge team that arranges cultural outings, travel and events including concerts, exhibitions and guest speak sessions.

Care services are provided by Draycott Nursing & Care, a sister company to Auriens and a healthcare provider specialising in domiciliary nursing and support. The development also collaborates with the Kyros Project to deliver personalised wellness programmes addressing cognitive health, sleep, nutrition, and mobility for residents.

In 2022, Auriens Group was majority acquired by Oaktree Capital Management, in partnership with later living operator Amicala. The group was granted Approved Operator status by the Associated Retirement Community Operators (ARCO) in 2023.

Julie Fawcett was appointed Chief Executive Officer of Auriens Group in 2023, in preparation for the development of a second site in Weybridge, Surrey. William Harding also joined as General Manager in the same year.
