Linares was the Senator for the 33rd Senate District, representing the Connecticut River Valley, including the towns of Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Saybrook (part), Portland, and Westbrook.
