Antanas Sniečkus (7 January 1903 [O.S. 25 December 1902] – 22 January 1974) was a Lithuanian communist politician who served as the First Secretary of the Communist Party of Lithuania (de facto leader of Lithuanian SSR) from 15 August 1940 to his death on 22 January 1974.
