André Lichnerowicz (French pronunciation: [ɑ̃dʁe liʃneʁɔvits]; January 21, 1915, Bourbon-l'Archambault – December 11, 1998, Paris) was a French differential geometer and mathematical physicist. He is considered the founder of modern Poisson geometry.
