Ana Mari Cauce (/ˈkaʊseɪ/ KOW-say; born January 11, 1956) is an American psychologist and academic administrator, serving as the 33rd president of the University of Washington from October 2015 to June 2025.
Joining the University of Washington as an associate professor in 1986, Cauce chronologically served as director of the undergraduate honor program from 2000 to 2002, as chair of the department of psychology from 2002 to 2005, as executive vice provost from 2005 to 2008, as dean of the College of Arts and Sciences from 2008 to 2011, and as the university's provost and executive vice president from 2011 to 2015.
