Alcides Escobar (Spanish: [alˈsiðes eskoˈβaɾ]) (born December 16, 1986) is a Venezuelan professional baseball infielder who is a free agent. He has previously played in Major League Baseball (MLB) with the Milwaukee Brewers, Kansas City Royals and Washington Nationals, and in Nippon Professional Baseball (NPB) for the Tokyo Yakult Swallows.
