Agnanta (Greek: Άγναντα) is a village and a former municipality in the Arta regional unit, Epirus, Greece. Since the 2011 local government reform, it is part of the municipality Central Tzoumerka, of which it is a municipal unit. The municipal unit has an area of 124.344 km2. Agnanta is one of the largest villages of the Tzoumerka region. The population of the municipal unit is 1,860 (2021). It is located at a distance of 55 km north of the city of Arta and east of the city of Ioannina. The geographical center of the village has an altitude of 650–700 m, while some of its highest districts approach an altitude of 1000 m. The name Agnanta has its origin in the Greek adverb agnantia, which means across (agnantevo means look across, watch/look from far).
