Adam, Meldrum & Anderson Company (AM&A's) was a department store chain based in Buffalo, New York that operated from 1867 until its closure in 1995. Founded by Robert B. Adam, William Anderson, and William Meldrum, the company grew to become a prominent retail establishment in Western New York, known for its upscale merchandise, holiday displays, and flagship location in downtown Buffalo. AM&A's expanded through acquisitions and suburban store openings but faced increasing competition from national retailers in the late 20th century. In 1994, the company was sold to The Bon-Ton, which re-branded its stores the following year, marking the end of the AM&A name.
