The 8th Separate Special Operations Regiment, or the Special Operations Center "West" (Knyaz Izyaslav Mstyslavych), MUN A0553, is a regiment of the Special Operations Forces. It is headquartered in the city of Khmelnytskyi, a kind of Joint Rapid Reaction Forces. Since 2014, the regiment has participated in the many battles of the Russo-Ukrainian War being reformed into a separate special operations center in 2022.
