The Philadelphia Phillies 2012 season was the 130th season in the history of the franchise. The Phillies attempted to win the division title for the sixth year in a row. But with injuries to star players Chase Utley, Ryan Howard, Roy Halladay, and Cliff Lee, they were eliminated from playoff contention on September 28, finished in third place of the National League East with a record of 81–81, and missed the postseason for the first time since 2006.
