Éric Dupond-Moretti ([eʁik dypɔ̃dmɔʁeti] ; born 20 April 1961) is a French-Italian lawyer and politician who served as Minister of Justice from 2020 to 2024 in the successive governments of Prime Ministers Jean Castex, Élisabeth Borne and Gabriel Attal. As a criminal defence lawyer, he is renowned for his number of acquittals which earned him the nickname "Acquitator", some of the controversial figures he defended, as well as his outspoken personality.

During his tenure as Justice Minister, he was one of the most prominent members of the government. His appointment came as a surprise to many political commentators.
