Toynami Futurama Figures

In 2007[1] the Toynami toy line received the rights to produce Futurama action figures. There have been other lines with this license, but none lasted long. However, this is the longest consistent action figure line, with 9 series so far released, and at least 10 series currently planned. The figures are an average of 6 inches or 15 centimetres tall. As of 23 April, 2013, the main line of figures and the talking Robot Devil are officially cancelled, with the Tineez and plush lines to continue. A Kickstarter campaign was announced by Toynami at San Diego Comic Con 2013 for the main series Mobro but never materialised. Toynami has announced that 2014 is the final year of their Futurama licence.

Cancelled

Please note that Toynami's figures are often released several months after the initially announced dates. While the line has been cancelled, the following may still emerge for sale, possibly at Comic-Con.

Name Image Date Additional Details
Morbo (Vinyl)History: Morbo was initially listed as a build-a-figure for series 9. It was then decided not to produce buildable figures any more, so he became a main figure for series 10 with Lrrr. Next he was listed as Deluxe, followed by a change to Vinyl, this alternate material was presumably to prevent a large price difference. Toynami then announced on its Facebook page that series 10 was cancelled and there were no plans to make any new figures. However, Morbo resurfaced at SDCC 2013 with the announcement that he would be the focus of a Kickstarter campaign in August 2013. In April 2014 Toynami confirmed that the Kickstarter campaign will not be happening.
Lrrr (Vinyl)History: Lrrr was originally announced as part of series 6, before being replaced by Amy. He returned in series 10, then was listed as Deluxe, followed by a change to Vinyl, again presumably for cost-saving reasons. With the cancellation of series 10, Lrrr was permanently shelved.
