Safety sphere

The safety sphere is an energy field that protects the body from any damage. When the Planet Express crew, Fry, Leela, Bender, Hermes, Amy, Zoidberg, the Professor, Scruffy, LaBarbara and Kif fly into the Panama Wormhole at the end of Into the Wild Green Yonder and the Nimbus shoots at them, the Professor shows them what will protect them from the collision. He is the only who has a complete bubble covering all his body, while everyone else's only protect their heads. The ship crashes into the surface and is then crushed by the Nimbus. The Professor survives because of the sphere, but the others (excluding Fry) keep their heads, and their bodies are reduced to skeletons.
