Old Planet Express crew

The old Planet Express crew were the crew of an older version of the Planet Express ship and the predecessors of Fry, Leela and Bender. They were sent on a deadly mission to collect honey from Space Bees, which proved to be their last mission when the bees overwhelmed and killed them. Their last, agonising moments were captured by the ship's black box recorder, which was discovered by the new Planet Express crew when they were sent on the same mission. After their very narrow escape, then-captain Leela mocked the old crew, stating that the only things they did better than them were "suck and die!".
