Professor Morris Katz
Professor Morris Katz was long known as a brilliant scientist at Mars University, but was in 3010 revealed to be one of those dog-operated puppets that's been adapted for use by a cat. He was secretly controlled by the Thubanian leader until the big reveal. It is not certain if he has always been a puppet, or if, at some point, he was a Human who, after his death, was used as a puppet.

Trivia
- It is likely his name is a nod to Morris the Cat, the mascot for 9Lives brand cat food.
- Katz is the German word for cat (Katze). It could also be a reference to the Futurama producer Claudia Katz.
- He resembles the 20th Century Lecturer, but this is probably a coincidence, as they both seem to be inspired by John Houseman in The Paper Chase.
