The zat'nik'tel, sometimes called the zat gun or the zat, is a small goa'uld weapon which resembles a striking serpent. It fires bolts of an agonizing energy reputed to incapacitate any creature with one shot and kill with two. It is powered by an energy cell.

Wracking Shot. A creature hit by a zat'nik'tel must succeed on a DC 14 Constitution saving throw or become paralyzed until the end of its next turn. While a creature is paralyzed this way, it has vulnerability to all damage.
