Wraps (5e Equipment)

Simple Melee Weapons

A set of 2 hand wraps and 2 foot wraps, which are typically made from long strips of leather, cloth, or cord.

Special: Attacks made with wraps count as both unarmed strikes and attacks made with a weapon, gaining the benefits and demerits of each when determining interactions with class features, racial traits, feats, and spells. When you take the Attack action and attack with wraps, you can use a bonus action to make one attack with the wraps. You don't add your ability modifier to the damage of the bonus attack, unless that modifier is negative or you have a feature that would allow you to do so (such as the Two-Weapon Fighting fighting style or the monk's Martial Arts feature).

It takes 5 minutes to completely don or doff a set of wraps.
