Weapons (Warrior Cats Supplement)

Weapons

Cats are unable to wield nor make weapons. D&D 5e is balanced around different weapon types. There is two ways to deal with the problem: simple and fancy. They do the same thing but the fancy method is for the people that need a bit more structure in the game.

Simple Method

Your claws and mouth are just reflavored weapons called moves. Instead of "I swing with my weapon called rapier that deals 1d8 damage", it is "I swing with my move called scratch that deals 1d8 damage." Instead of "I shoot with my shotbow", it is "I throw a sharp rock".

"I block with my shield." are reflovered to "I use my non-dominate paw to block" or "I use my non-dominate leg to push myself out of danger."

Buying and Changing Weapons

Instead of using money to buy weapons, you spend the same amount of money to train into a different move. You do get a discount for selling your old move. Example: I have rapier. I go to the shop. The new great sword is 50 gd and old rapier cost 25 gd, I have only have to pay for 25 gd to get the great sword. For the next few minutes, the shop owner teaches me how to use the move that grants the stats of a great sword.

Fancy Method

Every common weapon in the game is reflavored to a certain move, as seen below. "I block with my shield." are reflovered to "I use my non-dominate paw to block" or "I use my non-dominate leg to push myself out of danger."
