This thick dagger is a signature weapon of the Vins assassin guild. Within its blade is a hollow chamber that would be filled with liquid chilled to far, far below freezing temperature. It was used in covert assassinations to induce debilitating hypothermia into its victim, or, when the opportunity was available, to freeze them alive outright.

Freezing Liquid. When found, the Vins dagger is filled with up to 4 ounces of a freezing cold liquid that lasts for up to 24 hours after preparation. When you hit a weapon attack with it in this state, it deals an additional 1d6 cold damage. Once it loses its low temperature, you may spend 10 gp and 30 minutes with a poisoner's kit to prepare a new batch and refresh the effect, if you have proficiency with the poisoner's kit.
