Villager Sword (5e Equipment)

Weapon (shortsword), legendary (requires attunement by a creature with a connection to commoners or the folk hero background)

A sword once wielded by a villager of an unknown town that was raided by bandits. Its blade seems to seethe with anger. It does an extra 4d6 piercing damage to bandits, thieves, and other creatures of evil alignment but cannot harm those of noble birth or females. This sword will reject anyone carrying more than 40 gold by flying out of their hands and attacking their closest ally(even if they are a noble or female) dealing 5d12 piercing damage to them.
