| Having been exposed to some vile spores, the fungus works its way stealthily into your system and freezes your body and, eventually, your mind, making you a mushroom-controlled zombie. | ||||||||||
|
Stage 0: The target recovers from the disease. | ||||||||||
| Stage 1: The target suffers a -2 penalty to Dexterity and Intelligence ability and skill checks, and their speed is halved. | ||||||||||
| Stage 2: The target begins foaming uncontrollably and hobbles, unable to move or speak properly. They suffer a -4 penalty to attack rolls, ability checks and skill checks. | ||||||||||
| Stage 3: (Final State) The target falls unconscious, cannot regain hit points, and is dying. After the target dies, it will rise as a level-appropriate zombie after 1d6 hours. | ||||||||||
|
Check: At the end of each extended rest, the target makes an Endurance check if it is at stage 1 or 2. | ||||||||||
