The ulfberht swords are blades crafted from higher quality steel than most and wielded with one hand. Many of the sword's known users were vicious and ferocious barbarians. As a result, they would often become worn. A common and novel design of the blades is to dent and chip at the edges. This ensures a ragged cut on enemies, causing the utmost amount of pain and suffering on one's opponents.

Jagged Wound. When you score a critical hit with this weapon, the target takes an additional 1d8 slashing damage at the start of their next turn.
