The Grappler (5e Feat)

The Grappler

Prerequisites: Strength 16 & Dexterity 16 scores.
A Master of Strangulation, you gain the following benefits:

  • As an action, you can use your arms or legs as part of a grapple, removing the limitation on neck size, and allowing you to choke a creature up to 1 size larger than you. Limbs used to choke are not available for other uses until the choke ends.
  • The creature most roll a contested Strength (Athletics) or Dexterity (Acrobatics) to break free of a grapple, restrain, or choke from you.
  • You can use Dexterity (Acrobatics) instead of Strength (Athletics) when you attempt to grapple using your bonus action or your reaction.
  • When another creature attacks you and the attack roll doesn't beat your AC by 5 or more, you can use your reaction to force the attack on the creature you're grappling, restraining, or choking.
  • Creatures grappled by you have disadvantage to attacks and Dexterity saving throws. Creatures restrained by you from a grapple are unable to attack, cast spells, and automatically fail Dexterity saving throws.
