Wondrous Item (Quarterstaff), artifact (Requires attunement by a Druid or Ranger)

A relic passed down through a family of Spirit Guides.

Spirit Warrior. This staff is designed to be the ultimate instrument for warriors to stand with nature. You can use this staff as a focus for your druid and ranger spells. Additionally, you can run your hands along an astral string which creates one piece of magic ammunition when you pull back on it. When you do, the staff can function as a longbow. The ammunition created by the bow vanishes the instant after it hits or misses a target. Whenever you deal damage with this item, it deals an extra 1d8 radiant damage.

Spirit Blast. You can cast Fireball as a 5th level spell, a number of times per long rest equal to your Wisdom modifier. When you do so using this feature, it deals radiant damage instead of fire.

Astral Guard. You can cast Shield a number of times a day equal to your Wisdom modifier. When you do, the first instance of damage you take each time this ability is used is halved.

Transcendent Connection. Your connection to the spirit realm is heightened. You can cast Speak with Dead at will.

Unshakeable Soul. This staff fortifies your very being from the effects of spirits. You are immune to the Charmed and Frightened conditions, and cannot be possessed.

Death Walker. You can walk hand-in-hand with death itself and this staff will protect you. You have advantage on death saving throws.
