Similar to the Barrier Blade in design and function, the difference is damage and effect.
The Splitting Barrier Blade deals 1d4 per caster level, up to 20d4 at lvl 20. Furthermore, it is treated as a vorpal weapon if the touch attack is a critical hit. The conformation roll to confirm the critical is at a -5 penalty.
