This weapon is so brutal and its effects are so nauseating to witness that almost anywhere in the civilized galaxy it's illegal and its use is considered a war crime. A sonic disruptor fires a destructive pulse of directed sound which, on impact with living beings, can liquify flesh, snap bones, and cause internal organs to collapse. If a creature has 30 hit points or fewer after taking damage from a sonic disruptor, it must make a DC 15 Constitution saving throw; on a failure, the acoustic trauma blows out its eardrums, leaving it permanently deafened.
