You call down a spectral sword on a point within range. All hostile creatures within a 10ft radius of that point must make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 4d8 force damage and suffers one of the following effects, which you must choose before you call down the blade:

  • Creatures must make a Wisdom saving throw or become stunned until the start of your next turn.
  • A spectral copy of yourself appears and makes a melee weapon attack against all affected creatures.
  • The gravity of the affected area increases and becomes difficult terrain until the end of your next turn.

On a successful save, creatures take half damage and ignore the additional effect. Unless you chose to increase gravity.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 4th level or higher, the damage increases by 1d8 for each slot level above 3rd.
