These huge scissors must be gripped with a handle in either hand. While they're easy to use and can deliver a grievous wound with a clean hit, in the thick of battle lining up a cut is very difficult compared to traditional weapons.

Dire. If you're proficient with a dire weapon, add your proficiency bonus to damage rolls instead of attack rolls.
