Martial Ranged Weapons

This crossbow can be loaded with up to 4 crossbolts. Loading a bolt is a bonus action, and firing the crossbow is an action. Whenever the crossbow is fired, it releases each bolt as a separate ranged weapon attack. For the purposes of Extra Attack firing this weapon functions as a whole attack action.

Expensive. A character can never gain this weapon as starting equipment from their class.
