Punishing Pitchfork (5e Spell)

After a quick flourish, you thrust your weapon downward into a small portal. A second portal appears under a creature that you know is within range. In an instant, a magical pitchfork flies upward and strikes the creature. Make a melee spell attack against the target, dealing 1d8 necrotic damage on a hit.

This spell’s damage increases by 1d8 when you reach 5th level (2d8), 11th level (3d8), and 17th level (4d8)
