Your magic grants you a brief insight into the target's defenses. As part of the action used to cast this spell, you must make a weapon attack against a creature, otherwise the spell fails. Add 1d4 to attack die-roll. On a hit, the target suffers the weapon attack’s normal effects.
At Higher Levels. At 5th level, the attack deals 1d4 extra damage (weapons' type), damage roll increase by 1d4 at 11th level (2d4) and 17th level (3d4).
