Pointed Exhaustion
Rather than the normal exhaustion rules, when you gain a level of exhaustion your speed is halved and for every other level you instead get a cumulative -1 penalty to all rolls. Once this penalty increases to -10 you die. Your levels of exhaustion reset once you take a long rest.
