Opportunist (5e Subclass)

Opportunist

Fighter Subclass

You have learned to exploit the weakness of your enemies at any opportunity you have. Opportunist are smart warriors, that can make quick tactical decisions based on the situation they find themselves in, finding weaknesses on their enemies movements and strategies. They seek to always position themselves in a position of tactical superiority, that allows them to always be on an advantageous position. They make great use of repositioning of their enemies, guiding them with strikes, placing them in positions were they can be easily defeated.

You Can't Surprise Me

At 3rd level, you can make opportunity attacks even when you are surprised.

Stay Back

At 3rd level, when you hit a creature Large or smaller with a melee attack, you can attempt to push your opponent back. You force the target to make a Strength saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier). On a failed save, they are pushed 5 feet back in a straight line. The distance pushed increases to 10 feet at 10th level. You can use this feature once per turn.

Sweep the Feet

At 7th level, when you hit with a creature Large or smaller with a melee attack, you can sweep your enemy leg using your bonus action. You force the target to make a Dexterity saving throw (DC 8 + your proficiency bonus + your Strength or Dexterity modifier). On a failed save, the target is knocked prone.

You don't need to use your bonus action if you hit a creature with an opportunity attack.

Exploit Pain

At 10th level, you score critical hits on a roll of 18-20 on opportunity attacks, and roll the weapon's damage die one additional die on a critical.

Missed Me

At 15th level, when an opponent within 5 feet misses you with a melee attack, you can use your reaction to make an opportunity attack against them.

Get Hit

At 18th level, you can attack twice, rather than once, when you make an opportunity attack against a creature.
