Monk's Bow (5e Equipment)

Weapon (longbow), rare (requires attunement by someone with ki points)

Only weighing about a quarter of what a normal longbow would, the Monk's Bow is a rather sleek and elegant weapon. An experienced user can, with some practice, draw on their own energy to completely negate the need for arrows, as their soul creates their own.

When you make an attack with the Monk's Bow, you can spend 1 ki point to grant this attack the following effects.

  • It does not require ammunition, as a shimmering blue arrow appears in the drawstring, disappearing a round after being conjured.
  • It deals an extra 1d8 force damage on a hit.
