For the duration you "start to believe" and you become hyper-focused on dodging and parrying attacks. For the duration, all attacks made against you have Disadvantage, and you gain advantage on Dexterity saving throws.
In addition, you can use a reaction for the duration, whenever you are hit by an attack, to force the attacker to make a Dexterity saving throw. On a failed save, that attack misses instead, and you can make a melee attack against it as part of the same reaction, if within reach.
