The model M40A1 Sniper Rifle is a commonly used military sniper weapon that fires 7.62 x 51 mm NATO rounds at extremely high velocity. This weapon features a x10 magnification scope that can help with the players aim, granting him a +2 bonus to all attack rolls used with this weapon while using the scope. This weapon ignores any artificial armor bonus that adds to the creature's Defense. The Sniper Rifle is a long range weapon, and so it bestows a -2 on all attack rolls made against a creature within 10 feet.
