Lead Poisoning
Contracting Lead Poisoning
Extended exposure, consumption, and injury from leaden objects will have you contract lead poisoning. You will advance from one stage to the next at the end of every day. The disease will end when a day has passed since stage three lead poisoning has been contracted.
Effects
Stage 1: You get disadvantage on intelligence saving throws and checks and a -1 penalty to them.
Stage 2: You get become poisoned and automatically fail intelligence saving throws and checks.
Stage 3: You take 1d4 psychic damage every 24 hours and when you first contact stage three lead poisoning, though that roll is made with disadvantage. This is due to pain and mental effects.
Treatment
Lead poisoning can be cured with lesser restoration or more powerful healing spells, a medicine check with a DC of 12+the stage of lead poisoning, or removal of lead and consumption of food and water, which can be done during downtime.
