Weapon (Katana), Legendary (requires attunement)

The beloved sword of Suzuka Gozen and the sister of the Shoutouren blade.

You gain a +2 to attack, and damage rolls made with this magic weapon, and damage dealt by this weapon bypasses any resistances or immunities.

Blessing of Intelligence While you are attuned to this weapon, your Intelligence score is increased to 20 or increased by +2, whichever would be higher. Additionally, your ability score maximum for your intelligence is increased to a maximum of 30.

Trichiliocosm As a bonus action, you may raise this sword high, reaching for the rising sun causing the myriad trichiliocosm to form within the blade granting you true enlightenment of the universe within small gaps or intervals. For the next hour, you gain the following benefits:

You can't be surprised while you are conscious.
You gain a bonus to your initiative equal to your intelligence modifier.
You may use your Intelligence modifier for the attack and damage rolls of this weapon.
You gain blindsight for the duration.
You can cast Detect Magic at will, without expending a spell slot or material components.
You can read and understand all languages, written or verbal. You can also cast the Speak With Animals spell at will, without expending a spell slot. When using this spell, you can communicate with all types of creatures in the same way you would be able to with a beast.

You may extend the duration of these benefits by expending 1 hit die to increase the duration by an hour.

Twin Blades United When the user of this blade is attuned to its twin sword Shoutouren, the benefits of your blessing of intelligence feature increase to a +4 bonus if your intelligence was already 20 or higher. You also gain additional benefits whenever you activate your Trichiliocosm feature:

You can cast the Commune With Nature spell, without expending a spell slot. You can't use this feature again until you finish a long rest.
You can cast the Arcane Eye spell at will, without expending a spell slot.
Your blindsight instead becomes true sight for the duration.
When you make an attack roll, an ability check, or a saving throw, you can choose to reroll the d20. You must reroll the die before the outcome of the initial roll is determined. Alternatively, when a creature you can see makes an attack against you or makes a saving throw against one of your spells or features, you can force that creature to reroll the attack roll or saving throw. If the roll that triggers the reroll is made with advantage or disadvantage, both d20s are rerolled. Once you use this feature, you can’t use it again until you finish a long rest. Alternatively, you may expend a hit die if you have expended all uses of this feature to use it again.

Daitsuuren If the user of this blade is attuned to both Kenmyouren and Shoutouren, and they have an intelligence and wisdom scores above a 20, they may manifest the legendary blade Daitsuuren.
