Igdrys' Scepter (Shard Ne'Vaal Supplement)

According to legend, Igdrys was a powerful wizard from the time of the three kingdoms. He was supposedly an aspect of the god Bajara. When the gods struck the planet to shatter the continents during the Age of Flies, Igdrys was against total destruction of the connected landmasses. Thus, he threw down his scepter into the crackling sea between the developing continents of Bevel and Himmländ, and it grew to be a strip of mountainous land that would bridge the two. The displacement of land from beneath the sea also caused the range to extend across the two continents like a sort of scar.
