As an action, you can hurl this spear and speak its command word to track a creature you can see within the spear's thrown range. Make a ranged weapon attack against the target. You gain a +10 bonus to the attack roll, and you ignore the target's half cover and three-quarters cover. On a hit, the spear deals an additional 1d6 damage, or 2d6 damage if the target is a beast, fey, or plant.
Once you use the spear's property, you can't use it until the next dawn. In the meantime, the spear can still be used as a magic weapon.
