A large iron loop which goes over a victim's shoulders, granting modest protection to the thorax and abdomen. Includes a chain which is passed around the victim's waist to keep it secure, and sometimes smaller chains connected to manacles. The purpose of this "armor" is not protection, but to keep slaves from sneaking off or, especially, from casting spells.
