Range: Touch
Components: V, S, M (the heart of a jaguar or other large, predatory cat)
Duration: Concentration, up to 1 hour

You touch the spell's material component, causing regions of it to beat. Until the spell ends, any creature that can see the material component learns the size and general direction of the largest creature within 1 mile to the north, south, east, and west of the component that has a beating heart, such as most beasts and humanoids.

If there are multiple creatures of the same size category within the area, this spell only detects the one with the highest challenge rating.

At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the material component's detection range increases by 1 mile for each slot level above 2nd.
