Grim Healer (5e Feat)

Grim Healer

Prerequisites: The ability to restore hit points using a spell.
Whenever you cast a spell that restore hit points, you can convert part of the positive energy of that spell into negative energy, using your bonus action. This allows undead to be healed by your spells, but not constructs.

As an action, you can touch a creature, expending a spell slot and causing necrotic damage equal to 1d8 + your wisdom modifier, rolling another 1d8 for every spell slot expended above 1st. A creature can make a Constitution saving throw against your Spell Save DC to take no damage. Half of this damage is given to you in the form of temporary hit points, that disappear while not in combat.
