Golden Sword (5e Equipment)

Weapon (greatsword), legendary (requires attunement)

A sword of simple yet elegant design. seemingly wrought in gold, yet any who've witnessed it will tell you it's anything but.

Increasingly Lethal. When you make a successful attack with this weapon, the weapon gains a charge, up to a maximum of 3 charges. With each charge added the user gains:

+1 to attack rolls
An additional d6 to damage rolls
Plus 5 feet to movement speed

The sword loses 1 charge on an unsuccessful attack roll. If you go one round without a successful attack, lose all charges
