Gluttonous Maw (5e Spell)

Your jaw distends and your teeth sharpen as you try to take a bite out of a target. Make a melee spell attack against one creature within 5 feet of you. On a hit, the target takes 1d10 piercing damage. If you succeed on a hit by 5 or more, you gain temporary hit points equal to half the damage dealt (rounded down) until the end of your next turn. After the attack, your jaw returns to normal.

This spell's damage increases by 1d10 when you reach 5th level (2d10), 11th level (3d10), and 17th level (4d10).
