Rampage. When the fungal crawler reduces a creature to 0 hit points with a melee attack on its turn, the fungal crawler can take a bonus action to move up to half its speed and make a bite attack.

Spider Climb. The fungal crawler can climb difficult surfaces, including upside down on ceilings, without needing to make an ability check.

ACTIONS

Bite. Melee Weapon Attack: +5 to hit, reach 5 ft., one creature. Hit: 6 (1d6 + 3) piercing damage.

Spores (Recharge 5-6). Each creature in a 15-foot radius centered on the fungal crawler must make a DC 13 Constitution saving throw. On a failure, a creature takes 10 (3d6) necrotic damage and becomes poisoned. On a success, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't poisoned.

Born from the same source as trolls, fungal crawlers are born from human suffering. Fungal crawlers wander aimlessly, only attacking anything that comes too close. Fungal crawlers emit the sounds of their origin; the moans, wheezes, and gasps of pain and death, leading to many accidentally earning the ire of that creature by approaching to administer help.
