Forerunner Sentinels (5e Creature)

Sentinels are the most common of the last remnants of Forerunner civilization. They assisted in nearly all aspects of Forerunner society, from constructing their cities and weapons to even constituting the entirety of some of their installations. Unlike Monitors, they lack intelligence, artificial or otherwise, and are typically at the command of the Monitor of their installation, or any Sub-Monitors they may command.

During the Forerunner-Flood War, sentinels were the main forces deployed to stop the outbreak. Their mechanical, unintelligent nature made them immune to both infection and the logic plague, while their sterilization beam is able to kill large amounts of the infection on contact.

Holy Enemies. Despite being worshipped as machinations of the gods by the Covenant, they are some of the few Forerunner constructs the prophets allow them to destroy, often engaging in firefights with swarms of sentinels when they first land on an installation.

Forms. Numerous specialized types of sentinels were constructed, each with their own capabilities.

  • Constructor Sentinel
  • Regulator Sentinel
  • Aggressor Sentinel
  • Eliminator Sentinel
  • Eradicator Sentinel
  • Enforcer Sentinel
  • Guardian Sentinel
  • Super Sentinel
  • Assembler Strato-Sentinel
  • Retriever Strato-Sentinel
